Kilkari Charitable Society

Creating a brighter future for underprivileged children through teaching & sports

Kilkari is a school in Jharsa village, located near Impulse Headquarters, set up to support the local families in providing additional academic and non-academic teachings and care to children.

The school’s main vision is to play a part in creating brighter futures for all underprivileged children and removing the orthodox culture of not educating young girls. Kilkari makes it their mission to help families in their efforts to send their daughters to government schools as well.

Run by passionate and experienced educationists and social activists, along with Impulse volunteers, Kilkari supports around 60 regular students. The children that attend range between 5 to 14 years old, and follow a weekly structure including: school curriculum teachings, yoga & physical exercise, arts & crafts and computer training.
